Ossington Easter

One of the unexpected benefits of being a new business in a new building is that we get to have ‘first time’ experiences all over again. So this is our first Easter Sunday at The Ossington and to enhance the vibe, we’ve invited Dickie Baker back to play for you.

Known amongst his friends, both musicians and listeners as the ‘king of Nottingham swing’ Dickie Baker is a pianist and arranger. Playing in Twelve to the Bar, as well as performances with numerous artists including Cat Mancini, Amanda Barlow, Nathan Bray, John Porter and other jazz names, Dickie’s vibe is mellow, laid back and full of warmth.

Enjoying a residency at Yeung Sing in Bingham since 2016, Dickie plays solo piano for punters to great applause, so is happy in any musical situation!

Joining Dickie this Sunday are Neil Richards on drums and Mat Short on bass guitar.
