Barista Experience

Whether to use for yourself, or give away to a friend or loved on, our Barista Experience is a great way to share enjoy the next level of Stray’s Coffee.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Stray’s founder Mat Short, who will go through the basics of our coffee making process. Then he’ll show you how to take an order over the counter from your friends. Once that’s done, Mat will go through each drink and show you how to make them. While you’re doing that, our friends can enjoy a glass of wine, bottle of beer, cocktail or soft drink and enjoy the vibe of our beautiful venue.

While they’re doing that, you make up the order and we serve it to your friends. We include a slab of cake a-piece too for the full experience and of course, there’s a jazz soundtrack throughout!

You can ask Mat whatever you like about Stray’s and he’ll cater the experience based on what you want. So, if you’re a potential shop owner, looking to hone your skills, he can talk you through some of the more commercial aspects of coffee. Whereas if you’re a home-barista, he’ll give you tips on how to ensure the perfect brew at home every time.

Once you’ve paid for your Barista Experience, we’ll call or email to agree the date and time of your experience. We run them between 5:30pm and 7:30pm Mon-Wed. Alternatively, why not pop in and we can go through it with you.
